I Have crochet with cotton yarn 8/4 and hook 2,5

The star.

*start with a magic ring.

R1-16 dc in the ring.

R2-* 1dc ch2 1dc in the first dc, skip one dc*, repaeat *__* Take the yarn off, change color.

R3-start in a 2ch. *2dc ch3 2dc in the same 2-ch, ch1* repeat *__*

R4-sl stitch to the next chain. *4dc ch3 4dc in the same chain, 1sc in 1-ch, repeat*__* Take the yarn off, change color.

R5-Start in a 3ch. * 2dc 1 picot 2dc in the same chain, ch 5 , 1sc in Sc , ch5 * repeat *__* Take the yarn off.

Joining the stars.

Crochet the first star all row1-5. The other stars is joining together in a picot:
Ch1, 1sc in the picot on the finished star, ch1, 1sl stitch in the first ch. Contine on the pattern, look att the picture how the stars is joining.

Square.

R1- 16 dc in a magic ring. Take the yarn off and change color.

R2- 3dc, *ch4, 1dc in the same dc as previous dc, 2dc, ch3, 1dc in the same dc as previous dc, 2dc* Repeat *_* ch3, The last dc crochets in the same dc as the first dc, take the yarn off, change color.

R3- start in a 4ch. *[ 2dc 1tr 1picot 1tr 2dc ] in same 4ch, ch2, 1sc in next chain, ch1, join the square with 1sc in the picot on the star, ch1, 1sc in the same chain, ch2* repeat *_* take the yarn off.
